Mr. Anand Parkash (Vidhya’s brother, who is missing) last talked to his wife on 20th Aug, 2009 from his JOSHIYADA, Uttarkashi residence and he went missing after that.

And thats it.  It happens and happens with everyone, everywhere and everytime. I am not ‘the’ dragon warrior so how can I escape the mighty fate.

Last time I wrote, I was prepared to dwell back into the tech stuff.. which once fasinated me, and even started with it.. posted some pointers of what I’ll be doing, but then, destiny has its own play, where we are mere puppets. Have you heard about the ‘rapids’ of the great Ganges? Destiny has better and ferocious ones, I bet.

Caught in one such ‘rapid’, I am now heading towards a B-school to get my MBA… yeah.. it may seem carzy or may be sheer stupidity or alas, utter confusion of an aimless soul.. but it is what it is.. and I seem to enjoy it. Things have been rushing past, time just swoosshed past.. and days when I stand at the doors of the B-school are nearing.

School, once again.. this feeling elicits a mix bag of emotions in me… some dark.. and some bright… mind you the skeptical me is also there.. placing the grays in between. There is a fear of not able to perform at par with the B-school standards and its requirements, both time and effort wise (and it DOES kills)… and then there is that happy feeling of going back to school and coming out as a more learned, changed person. Hope things go in there best possible way.. yet again.. destiny, fate…

 ”who the hell care where we land up..” .. Aamir khan said it very easily, but it easier said then down…  A decision like such requires a lot of courage. Courage to face your friends,  your family, your peers, your foes and either justify your decision in front of them or just don’t care for what they think.. of which the later is far more difficult then it seems.. ask me, I’ve faced it first hand.  It is too, too difficult to justify such a ‘outrageous’ decision to people who tend to care. Above all, courage to justify your own decision to yourself… I felt that to be the toughest of all.. those confusions.. flickering of decision every now and then…. some positive news … and then something real bad… Gosh! Its over and I am still on.

You know where I’ve picked the line.. (if not do’nt read ahead )… Its time i start taking blogging seriously (again.. ) . A lot has happened since I last blogged. Of late, I’ve been a lazy bum… doing nothing for my blog….

A lot of water has flown down the river since I wrote.. and as per my Psyche.. my inquisitive self (I am honoring myself with that title ) has led me into various fields.. drifting from one to other… when am I going to concentrate upon one or few things.. GOD.. am I such a restless soul?? (I waited.. and as usual.. there were no answers).

But the realization has seeped in that it is high time I start blogging seriously.. I will not say that you’d see posts on any specific theme.. but all I can guarantee is that you will see posts.. and yes frequent posts..

I thought and found that these things interest me the most (tough the list goes on and on and on)..

• Identity & Access Management ( federation, SSO, authentication/authorization mechanisms etc).
• Cryptography (yes.. even I was amazed to find this out)
• Resource management in Distributed system (locking, resource allocation, contention resolution etc)
• DNS, LDAP, Kerberos
• SAMBA  specially samba 4(its a friend and a competitor)
• Product management ( when am I going to get into this??? )
• History (Indian history, World war 2)
• Dramatics (I’ve got some stories.. will publish them)

So, most probably the posts would be in and around these topics, but detours are inevitable.. after all, the unknown is more interesting… :)

To add to yours’ truly was the script writer/director/sound editor for the skit. To our amazement, it was taken too sportively and we won the 1st prize!!! seems like people had this is backdrop and we brought it out… kudos to the team… watch it now..

It happened all of sudden… it was just like old lazy days at home, when i, sometimes take break from my chaotic software engineer life and cool my heels in home… pampered by parents.. (their son has come home after long anyways)… suddenly, papa said..” allboutgyan(name changed), I am going to township, care to hitch hick and see the township??” .. and I was leave it papa.. i am tooo lazy to go out… and that too in November’s chill.. NOIDA is freezing… no way.. i am happy in my cozy ‘razai’..

Then, it popped up from no where, that thought to visit school… it has been 8 -9 years approx… the last time i went to school was in May 2000, to see my board’s results… and till today.. never had time (or energy to revisit), a place where i spent round about 9-10 years of my childhood.. or its better to say my entire childhood… and I jumped in…

Here is what I found.. must say… the feeling was more than nostalgia… see it .. the first hand account of MVM NOIDA, 10 years after i left it…

This year am at home.. it would be approximately 8 years since i’ve celebrated holi at home, with family… not much plans tough… but yes you never know.. who comes at an odd hour to pull you out and flush a bucket full of colors on your head…. or worst.. put that notorious silver paint.. (school-college days !!! am I getting nostalgic??)

Who can forget all those ‘gujhiyaas’ and sweets .. the ladoos, the balu-shahies and what not…I feel holi is one of the best festivals we celebrate here in india.. being in Bangalore and Hyderabad for approximately 4.5 years now… i sometime miss the environment that north has on holi… tough i must say hyderabadis are not behind in celebrating holi.. but bangalorians.. hummm (no offenses meant chill maadi..)

so let loose in the splash of colors and sweetness of gujhiyaas… who the hack worries bout those calories… its holi re!!
